Full Description:
Monday, June 25th 2007 - A talk and slide show about such "buzzy" creatures as dragonflies, beetles, cicadas, katydids, bees, and crickets that inhabit our backyards and nearby woodland areas. Learn about insect anatomy and life cycles, camouflage and other adaptations, and interesting insect behaviors. Mr. Schneider brings a collection of fascinating insects to the show. After the slide presentation, children will create their very own amazing "bug tee shirts" (heavy cotton shirts will be available for $4.00 or kids may bring their own shirts). Recommended for ages 5 and up. **Tickets are required and can be picked up one half hour before the program begins.
